The full set of papers in regards to
the Pre Planning in Principle Application by Scottish Water for the Fairmilehead
site are now available on the planning portal. The application number is
11/00188/PPP |

Please note that any plans or proposals
mentioned are purely indicative at this stage and may bear no relation to
the final plans which may submitted by any developer in the future. The
only purpose of the application at this stage is to report on the
consultation exercise and get permission in principle for a residential
development. The areas is already designated for residential housing under
the recently approved Edinburgh City Local Plan.
Anybody who made comments made to Scottish Water at the pre consultation
exhibitions will now
have to be made again, if they so wish, to the Planning Department by 25th February
2011.
If anyone wishes to make comments, they can do so either by writing to the
planning officer or on-line through the planning portal.When a
developer is appointed and full plans are submitted
there will be further consultation and an opportunity to comment on the
final plans.

announced details of the pre- planning consultation exercise for the
Fairmilehead site. Houses are proposed. |

initial report to the Development Sub Committee on 24 November 2010 can be

in Section 4 (c) on page 2 there is an error. Buckstone Road should be
Buckstone Terrace and this will be corrected when the report is presented
to the Committee |
