Oxgangs Post Office Closure | ||
|
Post Office Ltd have reprieved 2 Post offices from their recent hit list and consultation. As a result they have now targeted Oxgangs Broadway Post Office for closure. The consultation started on 4 November 2008 for 6 weeks and closed on 15 December. | Lothianburn Park and Ride Proposals | |||
|
Midlothian Council has lodged an outline planning application regarding a proposal to build a park and ride facility at Lothianburn on the south side of the bypass at the slip road. The site is 13.53 hectares and is presently used as agricultural land. The initial proposal would be 500 spaces with an expansion option to 1000 spaces. Access would gained from the Biggar Road via a roundabout built at the entrance to the car park for Lothianburn Golf Course and 104 Biggar Road (The Chiropractor) |

It is hoped that proper plans will be available on the website in due course. In the meantime they can be examined at Loanhead Library if required. |
